J.W. Townsend, Inc. began in 1983 specializing in garden installation with a specific focus on site analysis, bed preparation, and plant installation. We handle perennials, groundcovers, woody ornamentals and trees. We source material from high quality growers primarily in the mid-Atlantic and northeast.

Generally, 85% of our annual sales represent residential, farm and estate customers and the balance is institutional and commercial. We have many repeat customers from year to year.
